We love comments, so feel free to leave them for us! And please don't forget that these images are property of Simply Portraits, so please enjoy them on the blog and don't copy them.

Some days you just need a rainbow

For the last few months almost every Californian has been praying heavily for rain. We were finally blessed with an overabundance of rain. So much so that our poor old roof just couldn't take it. Fortunately nothing was too damaged, but we have had to move everyone around this week. Throughout the frustration of moving props, lighting, and appointments, we forgot to be thankful for the rain.

As I was driving home yesterday I saw the most spectacular rainbow. It reminded me that no matter how bad our ceiling and floor look, we finally got our much needed rain and we needed to be thankful. Thankful not only for the rain, but that our new lighting and more of our props didn't get damaged.

So when you're having a bad day, just look for your own rainbow.

Amanda :)
